The VIP Sunbed Experience — Your Afternoon, Perfected
There are sunbeds, and then there are VIP sunbeds. The distinction matters more than you might think — and once you've spent an afternoon on one of El Oceano's, the difference will be immediately, gloriously clear.
El Oceano's VIP sunbeds are positioned right at the heart of the Polynesian Pool terrace, each one placed to take full advantage of the view — the shimmer of the heated pool in the foreground, the beach just steps away, and the wide, unhurried expanse of the Mediterranean beyond. They are spacious, properly cushioned, and designed for two — wide enough to share comfortably, private enough to feel like your own little corner of paradise.
Each VIP sunbed reservation includes everything you need for an exceptional afternoon. Towels are provided. A dedicated personal waiter is on hand throughout — attentive without being intrusive, available the moment you want them and invisible when you don't. Access to the heated Polynesian Pool is included as a matter of course, and the swim-up pool bar is right there, making the entire afternoon feel effortless in the most pleasing possible way.
Sunbeds are available from midday until 7pm, giving you a full, unhurried afternoon from the height of the day through to the golden warmth of early evening — arguably the most beautiful time of day on the Costa del Sol, when the light softens and the sea takes on that particular quality of colour that makes you want to sit still and simply look at it.
Pricing is straightforward: €80 per sunbed, per afternoon, Monday to Thursday, and €100 Friday to Sunday and on public holidays, when the pool area tends to be at its most lively. Each sunbed accommodates up to two guests, both of whom must be 14 years of age or over — the pool area is designed as a tranquil, adult-oriented space, and the age policy ensures it remains so.
The Polynesian Pool — One of the Costa del Sol's Most Distinctive Experiences
El Oceano's Polynesian Pool is not quite like any other pool on the Costa del Sol.
