As a hotel guest, reaching Reception couldn't be simpler. Just dial 2001 from your room or suite telephone at any time, day or night. Our team is always ready to assist with questions, resolve any issues, or simply provide the local knowledge that can transform a good holiday into an exceptional one.

Beyond answering queries about hotel facilities and services, Reception offers comprehensive assistance with various aspects of your Costa del Sol experience. Need to arrange car hire for exploring the region? Planning airport transfers for your arrival or departure? Interested in booking holiday excursions to nearby attractions? Our team handles all these arrangements efficiently, drawing on established relationships with reliable local providers to ensure you receive excellent service.

Reception also serves as your gateway to El Oceano's renowned restaurant. We're happy to reserve your table for lunch or dinner, inform you about upcoming dining entertainment featuring talented musicians and performers, and ensure you don't miss any of the special evenings that make dining at El Oceano so memorable.

As a hotel guest, you can call the Reception Team any time by dialing 2001 from your room/suite telephone.  They are always there to help!

We are always more than happy to help organise car hire, airport transfers and holiday excursions, but are primarily here to answer guest questions and resolve any issues you may have.

We can also reserve your table in the restaurant and let you know about any dining entertainment!

Next to the main Reception Office is a small lounge to sit and wait when times are busy.  At times, especially in the high season months, Reception can get very busy indeed, so please feel free to order a coffee of drink from the Martini Lounge as you wait and, rest assured, we deal with all your and other guest’s questions as soon as possible.

Room Service

Room Service is available every day from 1pm until 10pm. A restricted menu is available for room service and on busy days/evenings, you may experience a slight delay.  Please be patient, we’re doing our best! A Continental Breakfast is available either in your room (tray charge of 5€ per room) or in the Oceano Veranda, where a superb ‘Full English’ is also available between 8.30am and 11am.

Reception Check-In/Check-Out

Check-in to the hotel is from 2pm and check-out is at 12 midday prompt. If you require late check-out, please speak with Reception. We will have to make a small, additional charge.

Car hire, excursions, laundry or any other service you may require can be arranged at Reception.

From the moment you arrive at El Oceano Hotel, our Reception team becomes your trusted resource for everything you need during your Costa del Sol holiday. Located immediately to your left as you enter the main entrance and descend the stairs, Reception is staffed 24 hours a day, ensuring that help, information, and assistance are always available whenever you need them.

We're immensely proud of our Reception team—courteous, friendly, and thoroughly professional, they embody the warm hospitality that defines the El Oceano experience. Fluent in both Spanish and English, they're dedicated to making your stay absolutely perfect, whether you're a first-time visitor or a returning guest who feels like family.

Additional Services and Facilities

Next to the main Reception office, you'll find a comfortable small lounge where you can sit and relax during busy periods. The high season months can see Reception become quite busy indeed—it's simply a reflection of how many guests we're delighted to welcome. Please feel free to order a coffee or drink from the Martini Lounge while you wait. Rest assured, we handle all guest questions and requests as quickly and efficiently as possible.

During particularly busy days and evenings, you might experience a slight delay, but we always do our very best to serve you promptly. For breakfast, a Continental option is available either in your room (with a tray charge of €5 per room) or in the Oceano Veranda, where you can also enjoy a superb Full English breakfast served between 8:30am and 11am.

Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in to El Oceano Hotel begins at 2pm, allowing our housekeeping team time to prepare your room to our exacting standards. Check-out is at 12 midday prompt. If your travel plans require late check-out, please speak with Reception as early as possible. While we're happy to accommodate when possible, a small additional charge applies for this service.

Comprehensive Assistance

Beyond the services already mentioned, Reception can arrange virtually anything you might need during your stay. Laundry services, special requests, local recommendations for shops or attractions, assistance with any concerns—whatever you require, our team is ready to help. This comprehensive support is part of what makes staying at El Oceano feel less like a standard hotel experience and more like having knowledgeable local friends looking after you.
