El Oceano boasts one of the finest dining experiences on the coast where lunch & dinner is served everyday either in the Ocean Room, on the Veranda or in the summer months outside on the stunning Waterfront Terrace, all featuring top class live music most evenings and in particular do not miss our ‘famous’ Sunday Lunch!

The restaurant comprises three distinct areas…

  • The Ocean Room.  Right next to the Martini Lounge, a beautiful room with almost panoramic views.
  • The Veranda.  A feeling of being suspended over the ocean, the Veranda
  • The Waterfront Terrace.  Al Fresco dining at its very finest.

Whichever you choose, your meal will be unforgettable.  A five-star menu served by the most professional and courteous servers all the in the finest restaurant on the Costa del Sol.  Almost every evening is accompanied by one of our fantastic regular entertainers and occasionally, special guests from all over Europe.

You’ll be impressed by El Oceano.  We’re sure of that.  The 2016 redesign is even better than we had planned.  A truly stunning restaurant, an impeccable menu, a fantastic dining entertainment lineup.  Right by the ocean, close to perfection.

Summer 2016 was an incredibly busy time, but as the summer season draws to a close, the restaurant has a little more availability.  Most Sundays are still booked solid, but please get in touch – you never know!  We are now taking bookings for Christmas and New Year and, while some evenings are already full, we still have some incredible Christmas party nights ahead!  Please know that, while you might wait a short while, your enquiry will be answered.  If possible, try to book well in advance.  Thank you!

The Ocean Room

Panoramic sea views accompany an exquisite menu.  The perfect beachfront restaurant.

The Ocean Room is the main part of the restaurant, the part you will see as you walk in to the hotel.  Large glass walls look right on to the beach and the Mediterranean sea offering almost panoramic views.  A bright and spacious room, the Oceano Room Restaurant is open every day for lunch and dinner.

The Ocean Room is where most dining entertainment takes place, with small stage and dancing area. If you’re joining us for an entertainment evening, this is probably where you’ll be.  Almost every evening is accompanied by one of our fantastic regular entertainers and occasionally, special guests from all over Europe.

The Veranda

An elegant dining room with views of the mountains of North Africa.

The Veranda is a little apart from The Ocean Room, with glass walls giving the impression of hanging over the overlooking the sea. It’s a great place for breakfast!

Right next to the beach, dinner is served each evening in the Veranda Restaurant, a glass enclosed dining room seemingly suspended over the ocean.  The views will take your breath away!

 

The Waterfront Terrace

Right on the water, the terrace restaurant is a beautiful place to eat al-fresco.

The Terrace is outside and hosts entertainment during the summer months. But on The Terrace, it’s about the open sea. The Terrace is right on the beach, with private pool, pool bar and most importantly, the beautiful sunny Spanish sky. Perfect.

Where the views will take your breath away, and where lunch by the sea can last forever! Live music is provided every evening at El Oceano, in the Oceano Room and during the summer months on the Water Front Terrace. The hotel’s bar and lounge areas are absolutely sumptuous, where an impressive choice of cocktails, liquors and wines are served by El Oceano’s expert friendly staff.

To compliment the perfect restaurant, we have perfect food. Our menus are legendary, really. Our Head Chef prepares the most exquisite selection of traditional and more contemporary dishes, containing only on the freshest ingredients available.

We take our cuisine very seriously, simply because we want you to remember just how good the food was. And you will. Each dish is a perfectly balanced blend of the finest ingredients and almost artistic presentation. We’re proud of our menus.

Dining Entertainment

Almost every evening, we bring some of the Costa del Sol’s best and newest singers, entertainers and comedians to our restaurant. We have regular guests – Johnny Baker on the piano, singer Thomas John Henry, ‘songbird’ Georgie O’Neill, to name a few – plus special guest acts from both Spain and the UK. Always a fantastic night out, the entertainment at El Oceano is second to none.

Sunday Lunch at El Oceano is a Sunday to remember! Using only the finest imported and local produce, our Sunday Lunches are second to none. Featuring live music, all afternoon.
